Pine is a popular wood because it is quick to catch fire being perfect for initial lighting of your burner. Being a softwood it burns efficiently and gives off intense heat but is quick burning meaning you will have to pay more attention to your fire and load it more often. The attributes of Pine make it an ideal wood to burn alone or mix with either a medium wood such as Macrocarpa, or a hardwood such as Gum.
Seasoned in log form for at least 8 months before being processed this wood is rain wet and requires several weeks drying time before burning. With our seasoned wood for best results stack away into a well ventilated area to complete drying for next winters burning. A far cheaper way to buy your wood and have the same good quality dry wood that we sell from our own shed.
