Description
Macrocarpa is a medium-density softwood that burns cleanly and produces excellent heat output. It ignites more easily than Gum and burns longer than Pine, making it a reliable choice for extended heat. Its ease of splitting also makes it ideal for kindling.
However, Macrocarpa tends to spark and pop, so it’s not recommended for open fireplaces.
